INVISIBLE HEROES – Part I

Our CHAINMASTER products are often regarded as “invisible heroes”, as they form the basis for impressive projects. But who are the real invisible heroes responsible for the skilful use of our products? In our new blog series, we would like to introduce you to some of these CHAINMASTER enthusiasts. We’ll start with Warren from MetaStaging :). In an interview, we asked Warren 10 questions that allowed us to take a look behind the scenes at Warren D’souza.


Describe yourself in 3 words: Engineer, Educator & Brand Builder

How did you end up working in the live events industry? My father was into the entertainment business and I had a leg into the events industry at a very early age

Tell us more about your companies? Sound.com basically is a tour sound & corporate audio company that’s where it all started for me in 1998, GearHouse is my backline rental arm supporting touring musicians, Streamvent formed during the lockdown of 2020 is my digital events company doing virtual and hybrid event productions, EvenTech Academy is my institution for only applied tech based masterclasses n workshops and finally MetaStaging is our newest entity that’s a trussing and rigging company we have begun with a large commitment and investment in CHAINMASTER products.

What is the most recent show you have worked on? Arijit Singh Mega Concert in Guwahati

What is your favourite all time show you have worked on? The Commonwealth Games 2010 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi

What do you like about CHAINMASTER products? Amazing size and form factor, reliable and road proven furthermore extremely good representation in India (the technical aspect and build quality of CHAINMASTER is needless to say amazing)

You have a lot of experience working in live music, but what song or album could you listen to on repeat? Dark Side Of The Moon

What “Tech” item could you not live without? Disto/Rangefinder

It’s ideal your day off. Where would we find you and how would you spend you’re time? Barista’s or Restaurants over conversations with family/friends and/or colleagues
